It must seem so very long since I've been here...posting a new piece
.....but I've been so very busy.
Many new things from my fevered imagination,
and my apologies for not showing them off.
I'm afraid, it's just the way I am.

This new piece, I started a while back, and I'm just now getting around to documenting it here. Idecided early on Iwanted to see two things from myself:

one, if i could pull off a more conventional, ( well, to ME anyway) image,
that is, more "polished " on the surface anyway, than I am wont to do these days.

And two: see if I could channel old Dante G. of course I'm being a trifle ironic here. Laudanum is damn hard to find these days.

Anywho, these are images of the initial under painting to date...
strictly burnt umber, burnt sienna and white.

The piece is on hand stretched Belgian lined, medium weight,
and is sixty inches by thirty inches... more to follow...
Please write to let me know what you think.

It make for good reading when you do......

later, M.Z.
